Apple announced visionOS 27 at its WWDC keynote on Monday, June 8, 2026, bringing an updated Siri AI assistant, curved virtual windows, and a redesigned Control Center to the Vision Pro headset.
The headline addition is Siri AI, which will also be coming to Apple’s other platforms. On the Vision Pro, users can use visual intelligence to ask Siri about anything in their physical or digital space while wearing the headset. Siri AI will launch as a beta feature later in 2026 and will initially support English only. Unlike the iPhone and iPad versions, the Vision Pro’s Siri AI will be available in the EU at launch without a delay.
visionOS 27 also introduces support for curved windows, which Apple says function like curved monitors by bringing content edges closer to the user without sacrificing screen space. Safari, Freeform, and Multiview on Apple TV will be the first apps to support the feature.
Additional updates include the ability to use photographed panoramas as immersive environments, Wi-Fi speeds up to three times faster, a new extra-small widget size, and expandable notifications that open when a user looks at them. The Control Center has been reorganized into three sections: notifications and playback, core controls, and environments.
The visionOS 27 developer beta is available starting today. A public beta is expected next month, with a full release scheduled for fall 2026.
The update follows last year’s visionOS release, which added PSVR 2 controller support, hands-free scrolling via Look to Scroll, iPhone unlocking while wearing the headset, call relaying from an iPhone, improved 3D Persona avatars, and spatial widgets that can be placed in fixed physical locations.
