Passionfroot, a Berlin-based startup that connects B2B creators with brands, announced in July 2026 that it has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners. Existing investors Creandum, Supernode Global, and s16vc also participated, bringing the company’s total funding to more than $21 million.
The raise will fund a U.S. expansion, with co-founder and CEO Jen Phan relocating to New York, where Passionfroot is opening a new office. The company is also opening an office in São Paulo and plans to grow its current headcount of 15 employees.
Phan said the expansion is driven by a shift in how B2B buyers discover products. “AI is commoditizing software and flooding every category with new products, features, and launches,” she said. “That is why B2B buyers are going to channels like LinkedIn, a creator’s Substack, or a podcast on YouTube to discover new products and tools.”
Rebecca Liu-Doyle, managing director at Insight Partners, echoed that view, noting that AI companies in particular require “evangelism, narrative building, and education,” creating demand for specialist creators on platforms like Passionfroot.
Over the past year, Passionfroot reported a 13x increase in revenue and added clients including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma. The company says it has paid at least $10 million to creators on its platform over the last 18 months.
Since its last fundraise in 2024, Passionfroot has launched an AI agent called Zest, which helps brands create, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns, and can identify suitable creators both on and off the platform. The company also operates a proprietary creator graph and a global payments wallet for brands.
Passionfroot says it is working on tools to help clients measure how campaigns influence AI-generated citations and brand visibility in AI-powered search results. It also plans to build AI features for creators, including monetization tips and content ideas.
