Database provider ClickHouse has reached $250 million in annualized revenue run rate, tripling its business from the prior year, co-founder and president of product and technology Yury Izrailevsky told TechCrunch in May 2026. Izrailevsky expects the figure to reach the high-nine digits by year’s end.
The milestone follows a $400 million Series D funding round in January 2026, led by Dragoneer Investment Group, which valued the company at $15 billion — a multiple of over 60 times its annualized revenue. ClickHouse was spun out of Russian search company Yandex in 2021, where the underlying database technology had been developed over the previous 17 years.
Izrailevsky said the revenue growth and valuation position the company for a public market debut within the next few years. ClickHouse joins a group of tech startups signaling IPO plans as the public listing window is expected to open following SpaceX’s scheduled June 2026 debut and anticipated listings from OpenAI and Anthropic later in the year. The company also hired Jimmy Sexton — previously head of investor relations at Snowflake, a direct competitor — as chief financial officer last fall, a move often interpreted as preparation for public markets.
ClickHouse has over 4,000 customers, including Anthropic, Meta, Capital One, and Decagon. Its open source database is built to process large datasets used by AI agents, and the company generates revenue through managed cloud services. Izrailevsky said this commercial offering ultimately costs clients less than self-managing the open source version, describing it as “a big tailwind.”
The company has acquired six startups to date, including Langfuse, which helps developers track and evaluate AI agent performance. Izrailevsky indicated ClickHouse plans to continue acquiring early-stage, typically open source startups with technology that complements its core product.
