Trump Media, the company behind Truth Social, announced on Thursday, July 17, 2026, that it will sell businesses faster access to posts from President Donald Trump and other high-profile accounts on the platform. The service, called “Truth API,” launches August 1st.
The licensed real-time data feed is aimed at Wall Street and other business customers, promising “the fastest access to Truth Social’s most influential accounts.” According to Trump Media, the API delivers posts “in milliseconds” using “industry-standard delivery methods” and will operate 24/7, with a historical archive of posts dating back to 2022.
Interim Trump Media CEO Kevin McGurn said in a statement that “markets already move on Truth Social posts,” and that the company expects the API “to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue.” Trump Media has not disclosed pricing for the service.
President Trump is Truth Social’s most-followed user, with 12.9 million followers. He regularly uses the platform to publish official communications before posting them elsewhere. Accounts for his sons, FBI Director Kash Patel, and the White House also rank among the platform’s most-followed.
Similar API products exist across other social media platforms. However, Truth API carries a potential conflict of interest that those services do not: the Trump family is the largest shareholder in Trump Media, which is publicly traded, meaning the family stands to benefit financially from a service that monetizes access to the president’s own posts.
