A gay OnlyFans creator had his X account hijacked in April 2026, with attackers demanding cryptocurrency ransoms and, after he refused to pay, filling his feed with pro-MAGA political content. Patrick Bewley, known online as Daddy Patrick, is one of several gay adult content creators targeted in a wave of crypto extortion attacks on X.
The attack began on April 9, when Bewley received a direct message on X that appeared to come from a colleague, porn director Jasun Mark — whose account had already been compromised. The message invited Bewley to click a link to nominate Mark for an award. The link redirected him to a fake X login page that captured his credentials. Attackers used that access to change the account’s name, phone number, and email, renaming the handle first to @DADDYPATRIOzvu and later to @Fatherokdwcjo63.
On April 16, the hijacker posted a Trump image with the text “GOOD MORNING, I’M STILL YOUR PRESIDENT.” When Bewley’s partner, Jerry Burt, asked how to recover the account, the attacker responded: “Just pay for it. That’s all.” The initial demand was $2,000 in GAT cryptocurrency. When Bewley refused, the attacker escalated, contacting his employer, Ducati Studios Network, and demanding $3,000 in crypto.
After Burt stopped engaging, the account began reposting 20 to 30 times a day from accounts including @MAGAVoice, and the banner and avatar were changed to imagery promoting Steve Bannon’s WarRoom.org podcast.
The incident has had direct professional consequences for Bewley. He had built his X following to 132,000 in under two years after entering the adult industry at age 60. “Everybody wants to work with you if you have over 100,000 followers,” Bewley told WIRED. “You have automatic credibility.” The loss of that account, he said, affects his standing and opportunities within the industry.
