Meta announced in June 2026 that it is rolling out a new AI creator assistant on Facebook, designed to give creators personalized recommendations based on their content style, performance, community, and goals.
Rather than manually parsing charts and dashboards, creators can ask the conversational assistant direct questions such as “When should I post?” or “What are people saying in my comments?” Because the tool is conversational, users can ask follow-up questions to explore topics further — for example, how their audience has shifted over time — with answers tailored to their own presence on the platform.
The assistant also supports content brainstorming by drawing on trending topics. It may suggest using trending audio or building content around cultural moments. The feature is currently available to creators in the United States, Canada, and India, with Meta planning to expand capabilities and availability to additional countries.
Meta framed the move as part of its effort to keep creators active on Facebook as it competes for their attention against platforms like TikTok and YouTube. By offering content ideas and performance insights within the app, Meta may also reduce creators’ reliance on third-party tools such as ChatGPT, keeping them within its own ecosystem. More frequent posting encouraged by the assistant could in turn boost overall user engagement on the platform.
Separately, Meta announced expanded language support for its AI translation feature on Facebook, adding Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, French, Thai, and Vietnamese. The feature, which launched last year, preserves a creator’s tone and sound while automatically translating Reels into another language. An optional lip-sync tool aligns the translation with the creator’s lip movements for a more natural appearance. Meta says more than 500 million users on Facebook now watch AI-translated videos each week.
